A Joint Initative of the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in SA (NCPPDSA) and the National Association for Persons with Cerbral Palsy (NAPCP) Nappy Run is an annual national campaign to create public awareness of children with disabilities and to collect nappies for them. It takes place over October and November of each year with the first Saturday of November being Nappy Run Day (also National Children's Day!) when Nappy Runs take place in cities and towns across the country.

Here! Nappy Run 2012 kicked off on 3 October and will run until 3 December. Donations of nappies can be dropped off at any office of a Provincial Association for Persons with Disabilities (APD) or contact your nearest APD office or the NCPPDSA to arrange for the collection of nappies. Please think about the older kids when purchasing your pack of nappies. Children with disabilities often need diapers well into their teens. All donated nappies will be distributed to children with disabilities in the province where they were donated.
